Its nice to have love to help you through your artificially shortened life. When the pain comes its good to have someone else there to hold your hand, even when the drugs muddle your mind so much you don't realize that you're at the point of dying and they've gone out for a smoke break.

Strange thing, smoking. Yes, we all know that if you overdo it, it will hurt you. That's not the point here. Smoking's been used for ceremonies and social bonding since time immemorial. I often wonder what the actual attraction is. Maybe it's as simple as the thought of drifting with the cloud of smoke into the sky and flying away.
