Ooh, I love this. I had a similar idea, except with a faerie. I still may do mine but, I doubt it can match up to the wonderful artistry of this one.

Oh wow - this is great!! Did you paint that whole bg scene? Fantastic. Love the character & expression too. But make that little lizard sneaking toward the nest go away!

the giant looks really good, the background look really good, but they don't seem to blend together very well the giant looks really 3d, while the background very 2d. the lizard, bird and bird's nest on the tree are a good example of that they look more like they were pasted on the background picture. definitely not the standard version of a giant though, that one was pretty nicely done
