Description
It's all about Music!! Music is sonic art, and a lot of my inspiration comes from music. I also love album cover art.
Those 12inch masterpieces (now reduced to 3 inches of the CD! Not quite the same impact) Some times I used to buy the album just for the cover art!!
In the early days of the 4ad record label a pair of designer/ artists set up 23envalope. they did the artwork for bands such as the Cocteau Twins , Dead can Dance, This Mortal Coil and many others.
So this image is partly inspired by them, but mostly inspired by the music of the Cocteau Twins.
I therefore dedicate this album cover art to Liz Fraser of the Cocteau Twins, the voice of a million angels.

I've heard of the Cocteau Twins as I'm an 80's music nostalgia freak. I remember 4AD as they were the record label for one of my favourite bands of the 80's ... Bauhaus. This would have made a great 12" cover ... aaah 12"'s, such fabulous vinyl masterpieces with some great bonus tracks on them. As a matter of interest there was a 12" released by A Flock Of Seagulls that had a bonus track on it ... and the track was called 'Tanglimara' ... that's it, my secret is out. Tony.
