Description

A classic scifi scene. I had to render this in parts because Studio just kept crashing with the full secene, but that only helped with the postwork :) The haze is made in PhotoPaint with semi-transparent white layers. I also adjusted colors & contrast a bit. Used: Greeble city blocks & Skytraffic by Stonemason Dystopia City blocks 1-20 & 41-50

Always interesting to see someone make choices when using the same database so many others have. In this case, I like the enormous scaling of what I often call "the civic center", a Dystopian block that doesn't get a lot of publicity other than some of my renders. Repetition of blocks sometimes hurts Dystopian city layouts but you've used it here to create a "housing project", at least that's how it looks to me. I think your haze flattened the civic center just a little too much. Perhaps not as much at the top. Very nice city layout with the industrial greebles on the outskirts.

Good sense of scale, which isn't always done. Also a variety of forms, sizes, rhythms which helps. Impressive. Thanks for telling how you did the atmospheric perspective.
