Thanks for looking. I wasn't thinking of the movie "Dark City" when I made this, I had forgotten I had seen that film. Your comments have brought it back for me.

As I visit the various images in your gallery, I am hit by dissimilar thoughts. Your use of a wide conglomeration of software packages applied in very unexpected ways, adds a fertileness to the images that is all your own. Your images dance among a idiosyncratic collection of contrasts, like realism with abstract, or texture waltzing with mood, memories holding hands with play and exploration. Over all a very impressive and delighting time is had wondering your virtual museum. Thank you.

Very well done. Your tilt and strata of colors produce a striking effect. And to think I just rented Dark City , direcotors cut arrived yesturday. I think that film could lend itself to a whole slew of spin off images. What ever you name what you have done. wonderful work.

what I like about this is that you give nothing to expectations—not one part of the city is lit up, it is truly in darkness, lit only by the hue of a deep night. There's a silent beauty about it (by now I'm seeing that you use darkness with real beauty & mystery). I also like the simple gridwork of your buildings, the same throughout all of them like they were built of the same materials; and your many domes & curves, a nice break from the 20th C. obsession with the 'box'; and the fact that they jut against dark still waters. It's a portrait of deep silence, with a little menace—probably from that highly dramatic sky, whose grays harmonize with the city's grays—and a strange & evocative scape, which grabs us in ways I can't fully describe...

dark city is one of my favorite movie and i even tried to do an image of it (not very well tho) easily keifer sutherland's best and you need to watch the director's cut to appreciate the movie they made him put a voiceover at the start because hollywood was afraid people would be confused well you're supposed to be...that the suspense of them movie btw it's the shortest time bewtween camera cuts of any (major) modern motion picture ever made like yours but it's a bit clean looking ;)
