Description

Honestly, I am NOT a hardcore military buff - LOL! I'm just a Baby Boomer who's been a World War II history aficionado since I was quite young. When I recently stumbled across some very good quality freebie models of military hardware, I did a couple of renders of warplanes from that era...and I was hooked! Here's a more 'ground level' pic of the wartime experience as I imagine it must have been. And to any hardware buffs who may be ready to pounce - I chose to use the British 'Saladin' armored car even though it wasn't a WWII vehicle because it was the successor to the 'AEC' armored scout car which saw plenty of action in North Africa and Italy in WWII....and it's the closest thing I could find amongst freebie models.
