Description
This shot struck me as a lovely summation of a great Summer. I wondered if the butterfly could see all the way to next year in the wilted bloom of that daisy.
I love the four seasons and the Fall always brings a refreshing rush of creative energy for me. As everything dies and goes to sleep in Nature, my mind comes alive with ideas, like a transference of consciousness.
Still catching up with all your work. My stars, you people are machines! lol.

Ah, yes, the venerable Shasta Daisy. Used to have clumps of these all over...now, they're all gone. Hopefully, that butterfly will soon be making the migration to South America and reappear in your garden next year. Beautiful capture.

Love the contrast of the wilted flower and the very lively butterfly. Really captures the whole cycle of life thing in a nutshell. I too go into my creative mode in the fall. All of the energy and ideas that were accumulated during the summer get let back out.
