Description

Here's part of some commission work I've been doing for Nikeeta, who wanted me to make some images of her Star Wars Galaxies character, Shakir Secur. Her lekku are different than what I usually do but are more in line with the character as she looks on SWG. Though this character is a musician, podracing is apparently a hobby of hers, so here she is admiring the new paint and polish job on her podracer. The primary drawback for me in this one was that the podracer model I had doesn't hold up as well at close range, especially some of the engine parts. Despite that, I really like how it came out. The depth of field came out well and I added some grit in places to give it the look of a dusty planet. All in all this one was fun to do, I pulled out a few tricks and put them together in the same scene for the first time here. This is also my first post using Kaposer's Xanna magnets instead of Wyrmmaster's. They work well overall. A little less in the way of versatility though definitely more user friendly. It was also fun to play with Posermatic's Suit 004 as well. Lekku by Keith (Norwatcher), podracer and building from Scifi3d (down lately?), R6 droid in the background by Vanishing Point. Even Shakir's reflection on the podracer is perfection!! I gotta say this is fantastic! The lighting is of course perfect, and how many people really know about the details of the podracer's engine and mechanical parts? They look awesome to me, but what do I know about that stuff?? Shakir herself looks really nifty in her lime green and white suit with matching gloves and boots, goes well with her sking tones, dontcha think??
