Description

This is a piece I have done for a friend. It showes one of her RPG-charakters. Actually, she dont knows that I made a picture for her, it is a surprise. Lisha Colvin is a vampire of the clan Assamite, which is a kind of vampire from the "World of Darkness" Pen&Paper system. At the moment she lives in our german RPG-Forum. www.darkside-chronicles.de The picture was fun and I experimented with lights in DAZ Studios. So I dont have to add the light on her in the postwork. I really dont like her face expression in the background. At the moment I cant get along with V3, but the leather second skin dont fits my V4. T.T However, in the end...I am happy with that. Thanks to: clarita and mgeyer whos photos I used in the picture. You can find them on www.morguefile.com And thanks to Rhiannon for his wonderfull freebie, the Black Leather Second Skin for V3 which you can find on renderosity.

Very nice render. The expression of the face in the background seems OK to me... But if it bothers you, you could make it a little more subtle (more translucent) so that the hint of a face is revealed... (the expression will be washed out)

Very nice setup and compesition. I like Homus's idea of making the face in the background a bit more translucent maybe some of the skyline shining through.

This is a great pic and again I love how you've put her face into the background. Good post work. 1) Now for some technical stuff. Never give up on V3. She is a great model and she has such an easy and intuitive morph set compared to V4. Yes her polymesh is not at such a high level and her skin textures often take more work. But as a base model she is beyond compare. Especially when you are trying to create non-European models or bizarre creatures. I use both because each has their strengths. 2) A simple fix on the background face would make this stunning. You alredy have the reflection but the eye looks a bit dull. Maybe because she is a vampire you left it matt but personally I think glossy would make it outstanding. Just my opinion. Outline the eye and use the sharpen tool in your graphic program. You will be amazed at the results. Want to see how this works? Take a look at Igolochka or Raiya galleries or my work "Portrait of Evil?" And compare that to the eyes in my work "Welcome to the underword" The first one used sharpen the second didn't - same model.
