Can you do a loop in a parachute?
I don't know. I never tried it. But I looked up and this is what I saw.
Upon reflecting on this shot, I am 99% sure we must be looking at the skydiving/parachuting man pictured here just after he has completed a steep descending 360 degree right turn.
But the smoke makes you wonder doesn't it?

I think they can maneuver those things in all sorts of interesting ways; I wouldn't be surprised to find that a loop is one of them! Great capture, that pink smoke loop reminds me of the pink ribbons used for representation of the fight against breast cancer...
