This image is a W.I.P. for War Dolls
- The cockpit system for Dolls
- 4 variations for Doll's head-unit
These models are still incomplete. I need your ideas for these models' completion.
Please give your advice to me.

Looks really good! Really like alot of the stuff you make. The Aqua Gear has been pretty invaluable and flexible. Suggestions: Flat Vertical Arm Plates - Not sure if those are mounting plates or not. If not would probably look better if they were rounded (like half-ellipses) with some grooves etc. Shoulder Pieces - Once again may be a mounting area. But the upper grey part could stick out horizontally a bit more (in classic mecha fashion). Lower Legs - Also appear to be mounting areas, but might look a bit better if the were widened in any case. Forearms - Maybe some grooves, extrusions, or panels? Will definitely go on my buy list once it's finished!

Hydraulics. Pnuemomatics on upper arms to lower. Pnuemomatics on upper leg to lower. Calf pnuemomatics to foot. That would improve the realism a LOT. Most mecha don't have any way to move them realistically. Pnuemomatic motivators would solve that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pneumatic_artificial_muscles < This is good from design work viewpoint.

At present(in 2008), joints of a lot of real robots in our Japan are composed of electric motors and linear motors(or oil dampers). I want to model it as operating by an electric motor and a linear motor. (For some shock absorbers not a linear motor but oil damper might be used.) Bugzlife From Japan PS Actually, I own 3 real robots for the robot-wrestling. Their AI can play even football game :) ...but, their heights are 30cm or less :)

かな~り、進化されてますね!ロボット そうそう、ぽざくらさんですが、完全ではないですが以前と同じで快適になっていますよ! って、もう知ってますよね(^^;

目玉がいいな。 ハッチはガバッと胸ごと上がるんですね。 コクピットも作りこんでるんですね。回転するのかな? 下半身を中心に重量感のあるフルアーマーが欲しい、個人的に:) 足のひざ下にもう少し重量感があると絵としては安定するような気がします。 上半身が凝ってるだけに、そう感じるのかもしれませんが。

Boldorさん、こんにちはヽ(´▽`)ノ ぽざくら復活、うれしい。さっそくあちらでもぽざ製作悪戦奮闘記再開しようかなあ。 コレに関しては完成しては気に入らず全部チャラにして一から作り直しを繰り返して、すでに3回目のチャレンジですヽ(´▽`)ノ 倉庫のハンガーには歴代の試作機が寝ているのですが、試作機のお約束で、どこかの少年が間違って試作機を起動して、白い悪魔とか呼ばれてしまわないか、心配でなりませんヽ(´▽`)ノ 空石さん、こんにちはヽ(´▽`)ノ ハッチは2分割方式で、上部(頭部)ハッチは後方へ開き、前部(胸部)ハッチは前方へ開きます。シートは前部ハッチオープンにともない回転しながら、ハッチと共に前方にでていく仕掛けになっています。 基地などの搭乗時はフルオープンで乗り降り、戦場では上部ハッチから出入りすることを想定しています。 このバージョンの関節に関してはまったく未完成状態で、現状はガイド程度のポリを配置しています。 現在、従来の球状関節(3軸共用)から2~3軸が各軸独立可動のタイプに変更すべく造型、実験をしてます。 これから各仕様の違いを装備、武器の違いで表現できるよう、作りこんでいく予定です。 頭部ユニットはこれぐらいのバリエーションがあればOK( ? ◇ ? )?

If the UV maps are very complex, maybe you could make some invisible plane props fitting different areas to apply signal and marking decal textures to the figures.
