Description
Charterhouse Street, SMITHFIELD, the heart of Londons Meat Trade, a massive place that stetches out over half a mile! we walked on and on and on past the buildings, I didn't realise how huge this place is. I would have loved to see it as a hive of activity, it was all shuttered up when we were passing.

How the world changes, and we seldom miss it when a certain way of doing things passes on. Then, sometimes we do find it a remnant of that time, and wonder what it was like! Excellent photo images of this place, and I, too, wonder what it was like when it was bustling.

What a colorful place this is with the reds, greens, blues and purples! Nice shot, and I was so proud to be able to see those wonderful telephone booths and get a shot of one! :)
