Description

I've been doing a study regarding close-ups of indoor objects. The light reflection is from undercabinet lights. I turned off the flash on the camera. This if the first in the series. Enjoy! UPDATE: The image seemed much sharper in Adobe Photoshop CS2 than it does here. What would cause the discrepency? If anyone knows, please site mail me. Thanks.

Every time you change the size of an image, or the quality, to make it faster loading on the web, this happens. To reduce this but not eliminate it completely, you can resize and compress your originals before uploading them, so you choose how the resolution is handled. Some detail is lost no matter how you go, though. Interesting study. I'd like to hear what you discover. :D

Wow! moonrancher has given me some great info. I hope I can apply it as I also have this problem you have, Art. Great shot and although my salt and pepper shakers are blonde wood, my counter top is the same as this one.
