Welcome to the strange, wonderful, weird and just not at all right world of Patrick E. Bradley; a.k.a. Dr. Mcquark.
Some of my artwork can be found here on Renderosity mostly for a graphic novel about a group of space pirates. Other pieces are just flights of fantasy. Please feel free to view my gallery and offer any comments or suggestions to let me know how I'm doing or how I can improve my work.
You can also see some of my other work on Deviantart (http://drmcquark.deviantart.com/gallery/)
I'll add more to this page from time to time. Feel free to come back from time to time to see if I can actually keep up on that. :)
As always, enjoy!

Great little new crew member you came up with, I really like her outfit.

Specular is tow low or too high depending on what you want to do. Her skin looks plastic. Lower her skin specularity to human levels by increasing the dark color in the specular channel. If you want really wild shineyness--add a reflection. Play with the reflection map choice and color and translucence and you can get what you want. You got a base to build from, what you build is up to you.

Very interesting effect. The skin tone came out very well. Now when are we going to see some of this story?
