Description
This female of a Great Green Bush Cricket (Tettigonia viridissima) I found in the near of our home. The big sting on the back is for putting her eggs in the ground. Including the sting and without the tentacles she is about 7-8cm long.
The males of that specimen are making loud sounds with their wings. Best view is in full-size.
