This image is great! If you want, try for more photo realism. I cannot provide specifics since I've never used vue. I'd love to see the results you achieve!!!

Geheimnisvoller Nebel...tolle mystische Stimmung hier....fantastische Vue-Szene. Was soll man da noch verbessern - ist doch top !! :-) LG Karin

Very nice image. May I suggest do not put the sword flat to the scene? The shadows are hard to see and the sword looks flat. A slight angle would create more shadow and a more interesting image. Of course you need to set the lighting so it will cast the shadow across the scene as well.

I agree, lighting, filters and shadow are most supreme in compositions......

Very nice image. I am not sure what you could improve. For me it looks very nice. Have you modelled the sword also with Vue?

It is a very good image. If you are looking for constructive criticism, I'd agree that a visible shadow for the sword would be a good idea. I think it could also use some more distant trees, just visible in the mist - at the moment I don't get the feeling of a forest... (And Vue is good at big polygon counts!) Maybe a more ground hugging mist too? But I do really like the image as it stands! (Incidentally, I was very impressed personally with the 'geek at play' tutorials, some of which are free. I learned a lot!) Nick
