Description

This tile is to be found in the Gouda museum wall. As you see what happened to it in only 24 years one can imagine how many years it took to corrode for instance the sfinx or the canyons... Good day all, and thanks for all those nice comments and fav's lately, Thom

Nature, as subtle and gentle as it seems to be, is actually the most fierce and mighty force imagined. She is relentless in meeting her own ends. Interesting shot done well.

A shame it is deteriorating so fast. It seems to me like the broken parts were created that way though. Interesting shot.

I was trying to decide if the broken parts were supposed to be that way or not, also. It always impresses me how Mother Nature slowly but surely takes back all that man has made.

I think you'll find your answer in the brick work. It seems less ravaged by the pollution even though it has been exposed to as much as the plaque.
