My boss, PhrankPower, took this photo of the Gulf of Mexico.
I was experimenting with 3D lighting on Text in AfterEffects and thought I'd use this great photo for it.

Yo tennesseecowgirl, the "lettering" is the whole reason of the post. If I hadn't taken the photograph myself I'd swear that text was really out there. And oh yes, he added the birds as well. A-f'n-mazing work!

Awesome work! I pulled up Marshall's original, got them lined up perfectly, and then flipped back and forth to see your work come and go. (I'm SO easily amused ... but it told me what I wanted to know!) :) This is absolutely fantastic. You've positioned your light source perfectly, and taken great advantage of the composition of the original image. Love the birds, and the swoopy bit adds a nice balance. I am totally impressed!
