Description

Fall is fast approaching, a season of change is coming. Do you ever contemplate changing? Not on the surface but deep within. The kind of change that lasts the rest of your life. I have realized that perhaps the only thing that can bring lasting change for us, is suffering. Suffering is a great motivator. It seems unfortunate that we must go through that in order to be willing to change. I love butterflies. It is one of the reasons you will find so many of them in my fractal art. They are fortunate, it seems to me. They get a second life. They are a caterpillar in the first stage of their life. Then of course the go into a kind of stasis and they change into something far more beautiful than a caterpillar. They shed the old form and emerge a different creature that is no longer earth bound but one that can fly. I think that personal change is like that. We change from an inferior form into a newness of life and our spirits soar... Fly High

In the womb, we are the caterpillar, throughout childhood we are the crysallis, and if we have got it right, by the time we reach adulthood, we are the butterfly, it is a great shame that a lot during the crysallis stage turn into scorpions and bugs, Oh well!, can't change that dear Lea, your writings are always deep and meaningful, and start a chain of thought in ones mind, after all this rambling on about insects, your image is beautiful :))))

Autumn is very much here in England. Very much rain and dull skies with some bright moments - a bit like life. I love this image. Very inspiring and can be read in several ways. Great words with it too.
