Description
This first weekend, after the new school year starts is the time of our Cowichan Exhibition.
Today, I browsed through the animal barns, watched a little of the dressage and show-jumping competitions, made a few furry friends and actually resisted those yummy mini-donuts!
I took many pics, and will be sharing quite a few. Come ride with me? We are ahead of the crowds........and the sun is lovely!

I remember back when carnavals didn't fuss so much over liability of injury and I'd ride these giant steeds, leaning out at a dangerous angle trying to grab the "brass ring" on the pole. I got it once and it was the best moment in my little life. :-) The bright and gay atmosphere here is wonderful.
