Description

Fast forward to the year 2719 AD. New cities have emerged throughout the previous centuries to replace aging infra-structures and technological advances. No one foresaw, however, the horrific mess now referred to as 'The Great Anihilation.' Collapse of world economies, struggles between nations and global upheaval finally resulted in the use of weapons which would devestate mankind and reduce the Earth's population to less than 900 million inhabitants. The cities have been turned into ruin and those citizens still residing in them have no means with which to repair what has been destroyed and fallen into decay. It has taken fifteen years time just for the atmosphere to finally clear and foliage to return. The sun shines through once again to reveal the forever changed face of our planet. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Multi-colored areas on structures and terrain planes were accomplished with the use of many radial lights and light gels. This has got to be your most powerful image of this type yet. Keith. Difficult to conceive how far you've come in Bryce since you moved on from Terragen and this takes my breath away. And glad to see you've kept that lens flare down to an absolute minimum here- in my view any more would be guilding the lily! Dave

I'm with Dave on this one, this image is very powerful and one of your best to date. Excellent how the tops of the structures are crumbling away. Your tortured landscape is also very well presented. A favourite without a doubt. Tony.

A fantastic image, Keith. You have easily become one of the best Bryce artist's here now and have great potential for further development. Your work in other media recently has also shown just how versatile you are and has revealed some other aspects of your deeply embedded artistic talents.
