Description

Evenin' all.. Glad to know my joyriding puppy gave a few of you a laugh on yesterday's post =) Today's shot comes from the world famous Notre Dame in Paris. Pictured is myself and my sister Laura. The ring was a new acquisition of hers this holiday (always has to get at least one to mark each major journey!) which had been worn ceaselessly since its purchase up to this point, hence the slight distortion you can see. This was my first visit to Notre Dame and we didn't have time to really explore it properly, and just jumped off the tour bus to admire the outside for a bit, and I found it so lavishly decorated and impressive that it was difficult to know which details to photograph! Of course, I wanted to do a little something more than the typical tourist snapshot, and I guess that's really where the thinking lies behind this shot. Bit of a family memento, bit of an experiment, but I was happy enough with how it came out ;) ..oh yeah, and I decided it was time for an updated nametag and to do away with the black border... I think I prefer it.. any thoughts? Hope you like it and enjoy your evening! Adam

You pulled this one off quite well...I do like it, a simple concept made into something more complex and quite heart warming in content. BTW, your overall use of light, contrast, color and edge detail is excellent throughout the gallery.. I am impressed with your photos.
