Description

I saw a posting in the Vue forums about a lighthouse challenge over at CGTalk. I don't usually do challenges as I never seem to be able to post them properly, and end up getting scolded. I decided to just post this one here. I used the lighthouse provided and changed all the textures. That's my own terrain and atmosphere. Rendered it out in Vue with as much light effects and weather as I could eek out of the renderer. (6 hours worth of rendering). I added the splashes and the rain in Photoshop after. Being a New Englander, I can relate to the scene. :) Enjoy.

OH yeah!!! I'm telling you, that's a book cover. I love the coloring of this. The scene is very vivid and has so much action happening in a still piece. This is wonderful! Well done.
