Description

Morristown, NJ Some of the ruins. I don't imagine this to have been very big. My friends and I surmised that it may have been a guard house as the tower was not far from it. I used the "outline" filter in PhotoShop to bring out the definition of the area. Thank you for all of your comments. I do so enjoy them. Hope all is having a great weekend. ~Michelle

With a hearth like that I would imagine it to be a barracks/messhall for the soldiers that manned the nearby tower. Cool pic... I bet the non post one looks great too. kell +5

Your filter effect gives this a rather surreal look about it Michelle. The stories it could tell.. even if not very interesting stories, would still be interesting to some..lol. Who used this place and when and how many at a time? Did they have families or did anyone make families here..lol? Why was it abandoned? So many questions.. I hate being the curious type! Cool one Michelle. Hugs from Dave :^)
