'Sun now at 4:30 pm going by the shadow directionality. Same Terrain mats & Atmosphere/Sky as in "The Shadow Cascades at 11am," the point of this "study" is: 1., you can create kewl effects, Black Ice for example, without a lot of time if you attend to light source placement & 2., Patiently learning to use the advanced render functions will enable QUALITY ART production as opposed to sloppy rush jobs.
Yes, advanced rendering jacks up the time factor & takes patience. Better that than churning out mediocre eyesores in a rush to publish, eh? :-D I'm not discussing this to insult anyone; but rather, to make our Art World a more visually better place.
