I know this image is in color but could almost pass for B&W...which would also be great for this rendering. Ghastly grim and ancient Raven wandering from the Nightly shore --- Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore." Just a little Poe I couldn't resist, Bill

I had never seen Ravens before I moved here, they are incredibly huge birds and seem to be the 'leader of the pack'. I watch them in the backyard all the time. they seem to be the lookout for the other birds and if one flies all the crows and blackbirds fly too. Love this capture of them, illustrates my point of the raven being the lookout. And I like them silhouetted against the sky. Excellent capture!
