Description
This is a redo of my space truckin image. I modeled the truck and space station in rhino. You can't see it here, but the space station has two rooms so far. A cargo unloading area in the bottom and a control room in the top. I redid all the textures too and uvmapped the truck, then took pictures of the decals on my little brothers semi truck and put them on my spacetruck. The background is a bitmap made in Photopaint with the glitterato filter from flaming pear and applied to a stretched squashed cube in Bryce. The cloudmap I painted in Photopaint. I downloaded a hires earth map from a NASA web site and applied it to a sphere for the earth. I know alot of people like to use rusty, abraded and grungy textures, but my brother and I are giving this to his trucking company for employees to use as wallpaper and I am sure they would not like to see old rusty space trucks.

Very cool. The smoke stacks on the top are a nice touch. Look forward to seeing more...

Thanks Bliss875. You too ShadowWind. When I was in the planning stage I definitely decided the stacks were needed to make it look like a truck.

Thanks nu_be the deep purple connection is just a coincidence, but it would make a nice soundtrack to an animation of this.
