(Jan. 2008) Hello everyone and thanks for visiting my page. My name is Tom, and I'veĀ beenĀ interested inĀ art and sketch drawing as a hobby for as long as I can remember, although never very seriously. In mid 2007 I started using Poser 6 and Photoshop Elements, andĀ have beenĀ 'hooked' on '3D' art ever since. I'm stillĀ learning to use variousĀ 3D modelingĀ programs toĀ try andĀ developĀ some digital art skills. IĀ enjoy getting feedback from other artists on what to work on and how to improve.
(Feb. 2009) The submarine I've attempted to animate is from an old TV show in the 1960s called 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea'. Although the show was kind of cheesy, I remember watching it after school along with old episodes of Star Trek.

Fantastic effects! Nice to see the old girl in her original glory (as Scotty phrased it so eloquently in an episode of TNG "NCC-1701...no ruddy A, B, C or D!") You're not the only Trek-er that's looking forward to the movie! ;-)

Fantastic render - always love a Sci-fi especially w/Star Trek. Always wondered what a render or movie would be like if the Star Trek characters faced off w/the Star Wars characters. Hum ...... The background, lights and special effects are priceless here.

Nice image. Hee, they had to talk about firing the weapons for a long time before pushing the button. And the other guy had to shoot at them 3 or 4 times. A red-shirt crew member had to die. Humm, this sounds familiar.

Beautiful special effects. They certainly look a lot more convincing than the effects in the original Star Trek.
