QUITE a deviation from my DAZ work, but, I figured I might as well give it a try and see what people think of my REAL drawing skills!

For those not in the know -
The Deathshadow was Harlock's original ship that he intentionally destroyed so that enemy forces could not use it against the Earth Defenses.
His subsequent command of the ship he is more associated with, the pirate ship Arcadia, became and still is his flagship.
The enemy forces that took over the Earth resurrected the Deathshadow to use against him, Earth, and the Arcadia.

This was drawn several years ago when a supplementary comic book to the Captain Harlock (by Leiji Matstumoto) series came out called "Deathshadow Rising".
This image was taken directly from the cover of the first issue and drawn by me. Original size of this image is approximately 18x24 and was originally graphite. This version has been reworked in ink.

The character of Harlock and the Deathshadow is copyright to Leiji Matsumoto. This is fan art and no copyright infringement is intended or implied. The lettering, however, is mine.
