Description

I recently mentioned that the sky had weird colors after sunset, and this was afterward a sky that I posted.I have heard that pollution from China is effecting the atmosphere in the US and also a volcano eruption in Alaska. the orange/purple glow is what I am speaking of http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1729045&member thanks for viewing and any comments

What a gorgeous sky. Beautiful colors. I bet it was surreal to take this photo as you were viewing this. There have been some times lately where I've noticed that the color of the sky actually changes the way everything looks - it paints everything with a hue of pinkish orange and makes the world seem strange. Great photo and I was not aware of what was causing this!

Wonderful shot, Richard. It looks very beatutiful to me..... But if the glow, is cause by heavy chinese polution.. I find it pretty ugly #:o).. Very hard to decide.. The global enviroment is causing enough damage as it is, already. But i guess capitalism, is capitalism... As long as it pay off... noone gives a beep about the climate.#;oD PS. Hope Ike is merciful to Texas... he was pretty hard on Haithi and Cuba. :(

Oh, I'll have to look up that Alaskan volcano! (I haven't read the news today) I think the colors are splendid--especially since you are not near the volcano;-)
