In the days before steam no one spoke of efficiency. Looks like it is all cast iron and sheet iron. The roof could be copper with patina but those ornate pieces are probably not bronze as they would be more brown and not likely to be so elevated.

The photoshop cloud render worked very well to bring out the building top. Minor crit is the bit of edge glow and the missing replaced sky background (white color) on the right side of the image underneath the building overhang.
