Description

These days, in the sunset of my life, when the sun dips below the horizon and darkness covers the Earth like a cooling blanket, I love being outside with my little terrier. However, it wasn't always that way. My twin brother and I were terrified of the dark until we were in very early teens. After that being in darkness still made us very nervous until we were around sixteen. Back when we were about fourteen, our chief entertainment was going to the movies, which were cheap and television in our part of Kansas was still a fairly new and expensive thing to get. One of the movies that we saw was "THEM"--and it made walking back home in the dark scary all over again. It was a 1950s Sci-Fi B movie in black and white. We must have jumped or run away from every little sound or movement all the way home. Do any of you remember it? As I recall, it was filmed in a desert setting but I decided to go with this one. Thanks for looking. Comments pro or con are welcome. Jeremy CREDITS: Vue Pro Studio 6 and PSP 5. Ants: One of Anton's Creatures from Renderosity. Background terrain by Karen Verba. I do remember that movie, and I still love it, even now! (I need to upgrade my copy - I have it on VHS, but not DVD and my VHS player died about a year ago) I like what you did with this. It's pretty desert-like setting, so that works okay, and I like it that you made this Black and White like the movie was.
