Description

Jetty Lytham St Anne's By the old windmill in my last submission there is this jetty leading from the RNLI life boat station. I really liked the texture of the wooden planks and the fact that the jetty stretches so far across the mud flats. In the distance on the far shore is Southport

Hi durleybeachbum, Should have said Andrea having looked at your profile.Thanks for the comment.As for this being an umpromising neck of the woods..well thats what I thought when we moved here three years ago from the south coast.But its not until you start looking in depth and that there are a lot of interesting opportunites around.I have been over to Lytham several times but never looked at it closely.All the recent shots of Lytham and St Anne's were taken on the same day,shortly after it poured with rain.Not bad for one afternnons work. Found a location with some old wrecked fishng boats and going back as soon as the weather is suitable for some decent photography.
