Description
This is BG(Big Girl).She has been my Angel for the past 6 years. I fell in love with BG when I visited a Great Dane Rescue in Ohio. She was turned over to the rescue after she had been thrown out of a moving car.

Before you scold me for being lazy or uncooperative, ask yourself if something might be bothering me. Perhaps I am not getting the right food, I've been out in the sun too long,or my heart may be getting old and weak.9. Take care of me when I get old. You will grow old too.10. When I am very old, when I no longer enjoy good health, please do not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having fun. Just see to it that my trusting life is taken gently. And be with me on that difficult journey when it is time to say goodbye. Never say, "I can't bear to watch". Everything is easier for me when you are there. I will leave this earth knowing with my last breath that my fate was always safest in your hands. I love you. I feel in love with this poem when i found it about three years ago, I hope you love it as much as i do....... :) Tina

What a terrible start in life BG had, people are so callous and cruel. She is so lucky to have "adopted you" and been given a good home. She looks very content and is a real beauty - she should be called BBG lol (Beautiful Big Girl).

Such devotion in those gorgeous eyes. I'm so glad you gave her a loving home. This is a lovely portrait. I love the colors in this and how you photographed her against the white. She looks very soft. My dog is rescued, too. It's amazing that they trust us after what they've been through. I've learned so much from my dogs. I'm glad you found each other.
