Description
The second still from my upcoming Porsche animation. The model is bought from www.squir.com. I modelled a car before but because of the time needed to create a nice new model I opted for buying one :) .
Some technical jibberish:
Rendered in Cinema4D, slight postwork in Magic Bullet.
And ofcourse Paul Debevec's Uffizi probe as a background.
The background is actually cameramapped to get realistic motionblur inside Cinema4D. I used a special lens/camera simulation technique I learned as a photographer.
Finished animation soon to be seen on http://www.c4real.net
*The full view is 1920x817 wallpaper size!
Thanks for watching!

Thanks!

Very nicely done - very clean on the car and well done on the motion blurr.

Nice render but using a HDR probe for a background image doesn't really suit the sharpness of the clean model IMO.

I can't wait to see the final animation of this beautiful car. I think the backround is too blured.

Thanks for the comments people! I chose the blur out of artistic view to accentuate the car's sharpness and speed :). This blur is actually the equivalent of a photographic technique with longer-than-normal shutterspeeds.

Nice camera view of this render - I like the idea of background blur as though the camera was panning to kep the car sharp but I think the technique needs a bit more more work to get it looking better.
