Description
This is the 3rd page of the book I was working on for my Children's Book Illustration Class. Billy's on his way to school. I admit that I used a lot of objects from previous projects, but I did not feel like modeling the sidewalk and car just for the background. Those are both from Mona's Little Dead Things which you can see in my gallery. This is my personal favorite image of the series. Let me know what you think!

Well done, I think it's great! I just feel that the lighting is a little dark, giving it an ominous feel, more like something bad about to happen. Perhaps if it was brightened up and made more sunny, it would be more child friendly. It is just my opinion, though, and I can see that it is a huge amount of work, s thanks for sharing it with us.

Looking good so far. I agree with the lighting being too dark. Also the DOF is a little too much IMO.
