Deane, so sorry for your loss and also for Dave. Being there really is the best thing you can do for him. Losing someone dear is never an easy thing and I'd be living in the beer fridge too were I in your shoes. Thinking of you.

As you already know that I am so sorry for your lost, I will say only a thing about all the other aspects fo this matter: You don´t need to apologize because we are friends. I completely understood, yes, was upset, but that is over. I never have those things much time inside... I heal very soon, dear Deane. Nothing changed for me, that is my truth. Life goes on. This things happen, in every part of the world, and to all of us. And as Meike said, we are adults. Take care, we love you :)

I cannot imagine what Dave is going through, but in time he will certainly look back and appreciate what you're doing for him. Apparently it has been a rough couple of weeks- it is high time for that to turn around.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend and the troubles that go with loss. People will understand. You Deane, have touched so many people here and they will understand that folks react to grief in different ways. Today is 9/11, seven years ago my heart was attacked and broken in a special place. I too have been angry, almost hateful. But, people love me in spite of myself. And people love you in spite of yourself.

Geez Deane... it seems that life has been playing with all of us lately or testing us for some weird reason... Don't apologize for being human as all of us are. I know how Dave is an important friend in your life same as Sharon was and it is a big hit, I can say this out my experience... Out of the blue things simply change and we just don't know how to deal with it.. how to accept it and how to live with it. Time will help you cope with it... time fix things as best as it can... not completely...in a way you can turn bitter tears into sweet ones. I am here for you as I have always been... you actually had been there for me when my aunt was in her last days... I can only thank you for that. And you know what.. Fabi understands it too... trust me on that too! Now... take all these honest words you are reading here and feel each and everyone of them as a hug.. as a sweet kiss on your face.. as a hand holding yours when you most need it. We're far and so close at the same time... same as Sharon is right now... just remember her and she will be there...

It has taken me 10 years to learn to live again after my Daughter Katlisa died. With my Parents, I expected to deal with this. Age is a time keeper and they lived full lives. Dave will need you so much this next year, so he can talk about Sharon. There are times when you can almost smell the person, remembering how their touch felt, and their voices you miss so much. My Grandchildren brought back Joy in my life. They didn't replace Katlisa. But looking at those sweet faces, I can give and recieve Love again. Many hugs to you and your friend Dave. May you both find peace, with your Love of Sharon.
