Description

I know we all have our thoughts and memories of the attacks that occured on September 11th. I was at school that day and still remember the shock of the unbelieveable news that our aircraft had been involved......2 in NYC at the World Trade Centre 1 at the Pentagon in Washington, DC and 1 in Pennsylvania where Flight 93 came down after passengers reportedly stormed the cockpit to stop terrorists' plans to use that plane as a weapon like the 3 others. I remember watching the day unfold on live tv. I also remember the brave men and women of the EMT, Police and Fire services, many of whom died trying to save others. Priss

I watched CNN today , just as I did that day at work, and somehow I got irritated, that the memorial service had to make place for the commercials. a "business as usual" - sceduling, that isn't quite appropriate in this case IMHO.

Yes, I as well remember it, and thus, since then, this world has been changed in so many horrendous and ugly ways! Tragic for thousands on that day, and since then, so many thousands upon thousands more! No one will ever forget it, and hopefully, justice and truth will shine through from that eventful day, I sure pray so! Thank you Priss!

Wonderful tribute. My oldest son had signed to join the Air Force prior to that day. He was offered a chance to "opt out" after this happened. His words I will always remember, "Now I want to join more than ever." He is still in the service and serving proudly.

Even after seven years, it still seems unreal, and harrowing. Those who were lost, those who came to help their fellows, and those who fought back (Flight 93), must never be forgotten. Never. Thank you, Priss.

I was still in bed, and still groggy from watching movies the night before. I was awoken by my sister crying as she was running up my girlfriend and I's steps. Couldn't hardly believe it when she was saying that someone had bombed the pentagon. Very sad day indeed. I think one of the positive things though, is the fact that it brought alot of us Americans together in ways we might not ever imagined. Much like Katrina did down south. Great tribute, Priss! 5*
