Lovely! I can almost smell those Chrysanths! It's interestng how closely allied scents and sights can be, as this certainly brings me back to a recurrent childhood theme, of smelling the Fall flowers in church, the scent of the old stone, and now, as your excellent image shows, to see the 'modernisation' that the much newer walls added beside the stairs have brought.
