Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Quite a beautiful and impressive flower.

My ex bought some kind of special indoor plant grow at a houe party that smelled like horse urine and I had to put all the plants in the shower for a complete flush after they began dying. Water and acidity are major items. Does it need lime or humus? Can it go without water for long periods or must it be watered at least once a week. Some stuff like Bandini or Milorganite has no nitrogen and is as inert as concrete though it is soft and pulp-like. Try something like 20-12-12 or even 40-12-12.

Plumeria are very beautiful and sweet smelling flowers. I have one in my backyard. Good luck in growing yours. The people in Hawaii use them to make lei. Especially, during Merrie Monarch time. Aloha

Wonderful peach color. I have two white and red. White has a wonderful sweet scent a red not at all. We use to just break off one "arm" when dropped all the leaves and wrapp it with foil and put it in a fridge for 2 weeks. Then plant it. Late spring will see a new leaves shooting out.

Magnificent lighting and blended color effects in this portrait of what could certainly pass for the fan blade of an electric fan, Marilyn! I hope that makes scents to one and all.
