Description

Hello All! Another from my recent trip to Amish country... this was captured of an older farm I was drawn to the sky after the sudden rainstorm . played with it a bit in paint shop this week to draw it out. I might have played with it too much as I was trying to get out a bit of the grain here... I have always been drawn to the Amish life style ever since I saw the Harrison Ford movie "Witness" in the 80's ( one of my favorites). This day I kept having my Mom pull her car over to the side of the road to catch the rainbow, sky and country Amish farm life that seemed almost surreal to me that day after the rain. Have many pics I have been wanting to upload from my trip but haven't been on lately due to fighting a serious medical infection that started at the beginning of the summer . Had an ultrasound yesterday and have to go see a surgeon Monday . Not feeling too well as on some pretty strong meds but wanted to put one up to say hello today. Will try and get caught up on all your wonderful art works and comments as I can . Love to you all !!! ((( BIG HUGS ))) ~Kimmers ♥ :O)

Oooooooooooooooooooooo ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. love the photo. Don't like the idea that you are not feeling well. Just make sure you do what the doctors tell you.

Amish communities are fascinating, thanks for letting us take a peek. At least for a Swede like me it is exotic, your shot is full of beauty and timelessness.

Beautiful! super composition. I ran outside with my camera yesterday for the same reason, a rainbow was lit up against storm clouds but I wanted to be in a spot where the rainbow landed on a certain building and by the time I had walked to the right spot it disappeared lol. great capture Kimmi!

I hope they get to the bottom of your health problems and get you feeling much better. Hard to be enthusiastic when you aren't well. This is a wonderful capture with super colouring and I love your additions, not overdone by any means.

Another beautiful scene... and even if that house and the coach were removed, the beauty you found there in the light for your shot would still make it so - same about you Grandmother's house too. By just being there and looking and taking the photo, you created a beauty in it's place. Something to be proud of!
