Description

Carnival glass was an inexpensive pressed glass used for functional or ornamental objects and was produced extensively in the early 20th century in the US, Britain, Australia, several European countries and Asia. The Fenton Art Glass Company was the first and also the largest producer of carnival glass. The glassware received its irridescent sheen from the application of metallic salts while the glass was still hot prior to pressing...a process known as 'doping.' Flame created using Apophysis Transparent look created PW with Paint.Net Frame with PhotoScape 3.01 Thanks for viewing and commenting. NOTE: If you view full size, there are numerous faces and creatures in the flame.

Very interesting to read about the carnival glass Keith. This fractal has excellent textures applied to it and the subtle reds and blues add tremendously to the overall presentation. I notice that this glass has been highly polished hence the lens flare Overall, very pleasing on the eyes. Tony.
