Description

Here you see I got the dancers movement and the background is not moveing. i also got the dancers not moveing but the background is. All this came as is from the camera. Here is my setting for the program I use to resize cuts off the settings ISO-100 f-stop is 8 exposure time is 1/4 sec. I have a flash I bought too that fix on the camera. I got it on the camera fixes. I did not play with the flash as I had it stright on. I wish i played with it to bounce off the celling or walls or take it off and hold it in my hand [I got a wire to do that too]; but I just played with the exposure time . It feel like it was just me and the dancers. I did not noted the angle of the camera but on some and people around me or even the music was not there for me. Guess that happens to ever one. All I thought about was to mess with the exposure timeing and that it. I was seeing what will come out of these shots. The dancers saw my images but I do not think they understand the movements I was after. hope you understand and like this too. Thanks for looing and comments oh this is the lady in blue and it was taken on the same Saturday as yesterday post. of couse a diff dancer. You saw him makeing the violin player laff. He a good dancer too. I hear he goes to all those big dances and dance up a storm.

Track-while-scan versus staring on a fixed LOS. Those sonar cameras might do something odd with a dog whistle but probably not with music due to the smallness of the aperture and thus the need for ultra sonic frequency.

Cool shot, Jock. Funny to see you play with the means... Seems like that painter dancing with the nice lady again. I don't know much about photo technique... But it seems like the shutter was open for a long time.. I messed a little with a Canon TX mirror reflecting camera in my youth(35 years ago haha)....when i took a picture of a moving car.. with the shutter open for a long time... Effects like this, appeared... it look's cool, for sure. And funny to play with too.+5

Terrific shot of the gal with the cute face and super body dancing with the old sugar cane harvester! But, Jock, once the Lady In Blue changed her clothes she was no longer the Lady In Blue. Like, it's green and white now? And isn't it difficult for her to dance in those boots?

if I was dancing with her I would have a big smile also, but she would have a frown more than likely from me stepping on her feet

I know some people don't like monopods much but I have one and find it is a great aid. I only use my tripod now when I'm doing still live or self portraits. I like this shot for the faces mostly. Its all good but I like the expressions.
