Magical shard or mystical portal...
I'm not sure where I'm going with this one...but I was contented with the shape, color and texture
NOTE: If you look closely at the bottom half, you will see the face image of an alien.)
Maybe you can give me your "take" on it"

its quite an unusual shape and has the look of crumpled paper .the gradient colour is a little strong in the bootom half of the pic kathleen but overall great work :o) mick

Hi, Kathleen. I agree with Mick. It looks like crumpled foil towards the top, then looks more like limestone or coral towards the bottom. Perhaps the purple is just a wee bit too strong, but that is just a matter of taste, and as an old teacher once told me, I have no taste. How did you arrive at this effect? Did you start with a fractal program, and then manipulate the resultant image? I can see the Alien in a space helmet in the centre bottom section. It looks a wee bit like a space going Lion to me, more 'Aslan' than 'Alien'... ;o) Regards, John.
