Description

The title explanation - I drew up a sketch to paint a mural for a liqour store... when they got the proof they called me back late and said: "That's "F"n Sick" ...I was at a loss of words thinking they didn't like it - lol Little did I know they meant that's bad, or a better word - awesome... This is what I've been doing and that is why BONDAGE II: A-Z has been on hold... The next couple uploads will show the work instead of the worker (Me). This is another reason you (my favorite artists) haven't gotten a comment until the last couple of days - oh, yeah, I got caught up on that too. I missed you guys/gals.

It's a tough life having to find a balance between Renderosity and murals... look's like you're teetering on the very edge...

Unlike the work on the computer, adjusting the image here is a little more difficult. I mean, where's Ctrl-Z? On the other hand, that is one very large screen...

Thanks for the comment and fave Steve... there are flowers - lol they are at the bottem, center around the wishing well - lol... Standing on that ladder, I had to get a shot. set the camera on auto and ran up the ladder. Funny how you mention the Royal Gorge... when I was in my late teens and went accross it, I didn't like the feeling of Height either, especially when those cars drive by - lol... as I got older and got into construction, I constantly was on a ladder... when I got into exterior trim, I was constantly on scafolding... For more than half my life now, I have not been afraid of heights.... Ladders are a pain in the leg, back, neck, etc.... LOL

Don't worry about not commenting on our pic's, we understand that you gotta work and get paid, not to mention you gotta create some 'f'n sick' artwork.

Now that's a task for sure...how long you figure it to take from start to finish? Do we get to see the final result? But like Steve, I'm afraid of height...so wouldn't ever catch me up there....lol....my son installs windows in to skyscrapers....I can't even imagine being all the way up there.......nice shot of you too by the way!

I'm impressed how your balance is so great up there on the ladder. It looks great Mike and hope you will take a picture when the mural is finished so we can see the finished work.

Language can be confusing, that is why I try to avoid using it. I find if I just beat the person senseless, they understand I am upset. And if I am not beating them senseless they must not be doing anything too wrong to tick me off. Works for me. :O)

You don't look too safe on that ladder. Mike. The last mural I did was in a nightclub and involved was recreating the Yellow Submarine album cover with Sergeant Pepper on the end wall and blue meanies and stuff. I just read your comments about Steve's new SF characters and am still smiling. Been away working on my web site so haven't been in much myself. I mean we have to earn a crust now n' then- right? This is simply awesome Mike. The only thing i would have done different would have been the ladder .I would have used two ladders with a plank of wood between the ladders so you could easily walk from one end of the mural to the other.Once again awesome work !

The ladder I have is a 4 piece sectional which I can set up just about anyway you can imagine... The rack in front of me presented problems, lots of problems actually, I had people under me from time to time and I had to allow things to dry, so I constantly was moving the ladder. If the rack would of been out of the way - they chose not to move it after they said they would and I didn't have the customers at my feet, I definately planned on running a boad as a plank - now that it's all done, and I didn't fall (especially into some expensive wine bottles) I'm glad I didn't run the board... I've used this ladder for years, I love the ballance, the rungs are more round than flat, so it does bother you arch more than a standard ladder... If I would of used a plank, a slight movement in the board could of spelt disaster... I made it through, my straight lines don't look too bad with all the awkward possitions I was in - lol Thanks for the advice, I fully agree with you about planks, just not in this case... One other thing I didn't mention... not only did I have customers getting under me, talking to me, looking at the wine and the picture... I HAD A BEAUTIFUL YOUNG PUPPY LAB ALMOST FULL GROWN BARKING AND SNIFFING AND BUMPING INTO ME AND THE LADDER...The dog's name was Toshi, cool dog, but I gotta tell ya, my ballance was tested every day with her barking while I was atop at the top of the ladder.

Did you know that you shouldn't stand on the top rung of the ladder cause gravity suxs...... But if were not meant to stand there then why build it with that step on it?????? Great capture and insite to your world. Excellent...
