I finally got around to completing the engine in my Nova project. Color it done!

I think that the elder siblings have influenced you on the intake mainfold. No Chevrolet V-8 ever had a bridged runner style they all were integral with the valley cover. I see black holes. Your Monte Carlo can tell you. Go look!! In California this must be an automatic car as it has no A.I.R.. I rented a Nova in 1965 before the Chevelle 396 I ordered came in.

The manifold is based on an Edelbrock hi-rise manifold that has a valley pan cast on the underside. The Hi-performance manifold raises the runners so that air will pass under them and help keep the fuel cool. My Monte Carlo actually has a PLASTIC manifold on it, modern technology :)
