This is a beautiful picture and a very nice dedication. These roses remind me of sunshine and those poor people need a lot of that.

I know nuch of the rest of the US doesn't understand but the people who live there know they live in a place that might be hit by a hurricane or a tropical storm. They are well prepared to do what has to be done. I see the pictures of the area I grew up in. My son stayed in his home less than 15 miles from Galveston, and did ok. He's helping his neighbors clean up the neighborhood, as are many of the people I know who live there. I fear my girlfriend on the west end of Galveston might have lost her home on stilts, and I see many of the places I know so well are washed out, flooded, blown over. I am waiting to hear from my older sister. I know she left. Her house is on low ground near NASA. But I know the people there and they might be shaken now, but they are strong. Soon it will be just a great story told at the local bar or bragged about in the grocery store check out. I love your power of 3 - Yellow Roses for Texas. :-)
