Description


A less ambitiously edited companion piece to a previous New York photograph. This uses 9-exposure HDR data in some areas, although a fair amount of it is from 1 RAW file. Taken with a Nikon D200, processed in Photomatix and Photoshop.

Dramatic sky. I guess the HDR technique was used mainly on the sky. I wish to see the water with some texture. Nevertheless, it is a striking BW.

Thanks for the comments everybody! @ igorsv: I actually like the water white like this, I think it adds an interesting focus point to the image, and helps balance it. It adds to the atmosphere, I think.
