Description

The only way I could get this tiny spider to stay still was to catch it in a petre dish. Its body measured about 4.5mm, the close up of the eyes were done with my extreme macro lens. Both shots taken through the plastic lid of the petre dish, thats why the eyes are a bit hazy. Thanks for stopping by for a look and for any comments you care to make.

One of your best macros so far Jeff, the eyes are so clear for it being such a small critter and through the petri dish. I went for a bit of a hike around Alkrington woods today and ate some wild Blackberries, they were tasty and sweet well away from where a dog could reach lol but I do wonder what unseen things could have been there too lol. Exceptional capture!!!

Cool shot. That is quite some macro lens you got, lol. I will look at the BugGuide spider eye page and see if I can place this to a Genus. Thanks for sharing. Lee
