Description
Last night as I as driving home from the beach, this is what I saw. I had to pull over and take a few shots and was amazed at what I got.

You did a great job with this shot, I have never had much luck with shots of the moon. Sounds like it was hand held, my shots in the past have been a complete blurrrrrr. Excellent photo Marilyn!

The moon lady is thought to talk loudest with the moon is full. My grand daughter used to say good night to the moon every night before she closed her eyes. She started that when she was 3 and sometimes I hear her say good night even now as she closes her eyes for the night. This is a beautiful shot.

Men have walked there. In 1965,I positioned an airplane (A/RIAA)to talk to them on the way out and back that I have now read was used to save the Appollo 13 crew when they reentered way out of postition for ships to reach until they were down. Not just for astronomers and simple gazes. It was money in my pocket.

I was told that the Moon was made from cheese, this shot gives credence to that belief, I was told green cheese, that was wrong as I can see it is in fact processed cheese. Excellent capture Marilyn, I haven't seen the moon in the sky for ages, I can't remember the last clear night we had. Bravo!!!!!

I have always been a moon person...it just holds me captive as I look at it....when I was a little girl I used to tell the moon goodnight....in my little girl mind I always felt sorry for the moon because we were all going to bed when it came out, leaving it all alone....thank you for sharing a beautiful moon with us.........I'll tuck it safely away in my favorites.
